Description

Copper Water Bottle Matt Finish

Storing water in a copper water bottle creates a natural purification process. It can kill all the microorganisms, molds, fungi, algae, and bacteria, present in the water that could be harmful to the body and make the water perfectly fit for drinking. In addition, water stored in a copper vessel, preferably overnight or at least for four hours, acquires a certain quality from the copper. Copper is an essential trace mineral that is vital to human health. It has antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-carcinogenic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps neutralize toxins.
You might see some dark/black marks or patches on the inside and outside of the bottle and these are mainly due to the high heat used in making these. We avoid using strong chemicals to remove these as these are for the use of drinking. Please wash it before first use.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning copper bottles is a relatively simple process. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you clean your copper mugs effectively:

  1. Gather the necessary supplies: You’ll need mild dish soap, a soft sponge or cloth, warm water, lemon, salt, and a soft, dry cloth or towel.
  2. Create a cleaning solution: Fill your sink or a bowl with warm water and add a few drops of mild dish soap. Mix it well to create a soapy solution.
  3. Wet the sponge or cloth: Dip the sponge or cloth into the soapy water and squeeze out any excess liquid. You want it to be damp but not dripping wet.
  4. Clean the copper bottles: Gently scrub the surface of the copper bottles with a damp sponge or cloth. Pay extra attention to any areas with stains or tarnish. Use circular motions to remove dirt and grime.
  5. Rinse the bottle: Once you’ve cleaned the bottle, rinse it thoroughly with warm water to remove any soap residue. Ensure that all soap is washed away, as it can leave a film on the copper.
  6. Remove tarnish (optional): If you notice tarnish or discoloration on the copper bottle, you can use a natural method to restore its shine. Cut a lemon in half and sprinkle salt on the cut side. Rub the lemon on the tarnished areas, using the salt as an abrasive. Rinse the bottle again with water to remove any lemon residue.
  7. Dry and polish: Use a soft, dry cloth or towel to carefully dry the copper bottle. Make sure they are completely dry to prevent water spots. If desired, you can use a clean, dry cloth to buff the bottle gently, restoring its shine.
  8. Store properly: To prevent tarnish and maintain the bottle’s appearance, store them in a dry place away from moisture and humidity. You can also consider using a tarnish-preventing polish or placing anti-tarnish strips near the bottle when storing them.

By following these steps, you can keep your copper bottle clean and in good condition.
